Surrender by definition means, "Give up or hand over (a person, right, or possession), typically on compulsion or demand."
Every day something is surrendered, and left to be lost or forgot, possible burned or torn down...but I think that these things deserve what they have earned. All things abandoned were great, and magnificent to at least one before they were retired and, "Abandoned At Last."
